Death Stranding still hasn't attracted a release date yet, but creator Hideo Kojima has thrown us a bone by confirming the game has now reached the 'critical phase' of development. That's the bit that comes before debugging, in case you wondered. Speaking in a post on Twitter, the Kojima Productions head honcho revealed that plays Death Stranding on a daily basis on PS4, in an effort to determine which content will make the cut or be given the chop. '[Death Stranding] is not yet in difficulty adjustment or debugging stage, but combining all the parts made in [different] tools and development machines into one game,' ( via Eurogamer ). 'It's a process to connect the parts, to fix the operation, feelings, the production, the specifications, the trouble, and to strip the flesh and [make changes] while I play the game directly every day on PS4. Today, during its first-ever State of Play livestream, Sony Interactive Entertainment revealed a brand-new  Days Gone  trailer that delves deeper into the game's story, which follows Deacon St. John, a drifter and bounty hunter who rides the broken rode on his motorcycle looking for a reason to live in a post-apocalyptic world that is falling apart and increasingly hostile. If you're looking for new, raw gameplay of the open-world action-adventure title in-action, the new trailer won't be for you. But, if you're looking for more story details on the game's world and Deacon's motivations, then it's certainly worth the two minutes of your time it will take up. Fallout 76 ’s seventh major patch  Wild Appalachia  arrived today and with it comes a host of changes. There are the usual fixes and improvements, but the new update also includes some new content that helps bring some life back into the game’s previously stagnant world. The biggest new addition is a quest called Wasted on Nukashine that encourages you to perfect the art of brewing some Nuka-Cola-infused hooch for a drunken robot named Biv. This robot, by the way, has spent the last few decades stumbling about in the basement of a tattoo parlor that had been converted into a speakeasy by some students at the nearby university who were tired of the cops constantly busting up their keggers. The setup is sort of like  Animal House  meets  Weird Science , minus all of the teenage perviness or other characters. World War Z  is a  third-person shooter   video game  developed by  Saber Interactive , published by  Focus Home Interactive  and scheduled for release for  Microsoft Windows ,  PlayStation 4 , and  Xbox One  in April 2019. Devil May Cry 5 is on the verge of arriving on consoles, so the game's publisher has dropped a new trailer to promote the title. This one in particular highlights Nero as one of three playable heroes in the game. It's no secret that Devil May Cry 5 's publisher has been delivering some heavy-hitters in the first half of 2019. Hot on the heels of the well-received Resident Evil 2 remake , Capcom is now set to deliver the next major installment of the Devil May Cry franchise. The mod - which is available now on Nexus Mods - replaces just the visuals, so for the complete and thoroughly terrifying experience, you might want to take the author's suggestion and switch the sound files, too. Ubisoft has hosted a couple of private betas for The Division 2 , but this weekend, the publisher is giving all players across PS4, Xbox One, and PC a chance to try out the upcoming shooter with its first open beta. Ahead of the test, Ubisoft has shared a new trailer showing off some of the content players will be able to experience. The Division 2 open beta will run on all three platforms from March 1-4. During that time, players will be able to embark on three main missions on Normal and Hard modes. Two of these, Grand Washington Hotel and Jefferson Trade Center, were previously featured during the game's private betas, while Viewpoint Museum is new for this test. The open beta will differ from the private tests in a few other ways. First, Ubisoft is raising the level cap to 8.
